Well, so I thought it would be a nice idea for y'all at home if I were to keep you posting of my adventures abroad. Mostly to ensure my facebook-less family that I am still alive. I leave tomorrow, my flight takes of at 7:40pm, giving me plenty of time to frantically beg my mum to help me pack.
Donald will be picking me up to take me to the airport, where I will likely run into my travel companion for the next fortnight, Matthew. Matthew has his own blog, here:
http://meadv.blogspot.ca/
where he will no doubt give inaccurate recounts of the next while's events, making this blog necessary to give my side of the story. What ever those stories may turn out to be.
Unfortunately, we will not be on the same plane (though he will arrive in Heathrow, London 20 minutes after myself), because Mr. Snobbypants decided to fly business class. Too bad for him, I won't be able to point out any caulderas we may pass over, or protect him if a batholith attacks the plane.
I will be attending the University of Leeds for the this Fall semester, while Matthew will be in Norwich at the University of East Anglia.
Our itinerary before I move into my dormitory in Leeds is as follows:
Sept 3rd-5th : London
Sept 6th : Bath
Sept 7th : Cotswolds (whatever they are)
Sept 8th : Oxford
Sept 9th : Windsor
Sept 10th : Return to London
Sept 11th : Chester
Sept 12th : Move into Leeds
Panic meter is pretty high, right now, interspersed with waves of excitement.

... Matthew started it.
